Chris MacDonald: workshop

Here is a shot of the workshop.

You can see skulls and a propellor. Elsewhere are hung old brass musical instruments. Years of collecting from skips, friends and strangers and flea markets fill this space that once was a stable.

The piece on the bench I'm working on (June 2008) features 2 deer horns geared to contra-rotate at the turn of a crank - very difficult to value, and inspired by a visit to Goodward Sculpture Park where I saw a giant outdoor variation in stainless steel.
